 CROCHET WATER BOTTLE OR TUMBLER HOLDER ROW 1: 10 HDC in the magic circle, slip stitich Row 2: Chain 1, (2 hdc in next st) x10, slip stitch - total 20 ROW 3: chain 1, (hdc, 2 hdc in next stitch) x10, slst ROW 4: Chain 1, (hdc, hdc, 2 hdc in next stitch) x10, slst SIDE Row 1: chain 1, (2hdc in next stitch, skip a stitch) x10, slst SIDE Row 2 - work in between those 2 stitches (2 hdc in between), slst - Repeat until reached the desired length LAST SIDE ROW: chain 1, hdc around, sl st BELT LOOP STRAP: chain 10 SHOULDER STRAP: chain 101

  CROCHET BIBLE COVER (Project #2) Note: for YouTube watch look for @madeByHands-gf6rd ROW 1: (yellow yarn) look at the arrow in the 2nd picture of the bible (that's the size i measured) Chain 20 + 1 chain Make single crochet at the back loop (start in the 2nd chain) Continue doing single crochet until the end of this row.   CROCHET BIBLE COVER ROW 1: - Chain 20 ( Depends on the size of your Bible) - Half double crochet (hdc) in the 3rd chain - hdc in the rest of the row ROW 2 & the rest of the row - hdc until you reach the right measurement of the bible *If done make single crochet on the sides to make it even (edges) Note: In the corner make two single crochets (sc) FLAPS: Start with 20 chains (like i did on the body of the book cover) Same pattern (hdc on the entire row) I made eight rows with hdc. if done make another one (total; 2 flaps) *Then attach these two flaps with the body of the book (right and left side of the body of the book cover using) single crochet Note: I crocheted the flaps separate to make it durable and be able to design the edges BORDER DESIGN: You cand design the edges with any pattern you like.   look at the arrow in the 2nd picture of the bible (that's the size i measured) CROCHET BIBLE COVER MATERIALS: 4mm hook (any size you're comfortable to use) Combine two yarns acrylic & thin yarn Monaco INSTRUCTIONS : The bible size I'll be making is small (4.5 x 6) - thick 1.3" I measured the bible horizontally Depends on the size of your Bible  Start making the chain (odd number + 1) I'll use star stitch for this project ROW 1: Single Crochet (SC) in this row. Start at the 2nd stitch from the hook. ROW 2: (do the star stitch) Chain 3 insert the hook in the 2nd chain, pull through two loops in the hook. Insert in the 3rd chain (3 loops in the hook). Do this until you have six loops in the hook. (See my tutorials on how to make star stitch) ROW 3: SC turn your work and make 2 half double crochet in the eye of the star stitch.  At the end of the stitch, make 1 half Double Crochet (HDC) to make even.
